Event name: W Hotel DJ LIVING ROOM BAR
Parking/load-in instructions:
Upon arrival, please check in with the security team at the loading dock on Houston St., just opposite the main entrance (you’ll see yellow poles on either side of the dock doors). If you prefer, you may unload your equipment at the loading dock before parking. After check-in, security will direct you to the employee garage on Houston St., where parking is permitted only on the 5th or 6th floor. Once parked, please use the service elevator to enter the hotel — it’s the single elevator on the right. Enter the single elevator and press “L” to reach the correct level. Security, valet, and Welcome have been informed of this procedure and can assist you on arrival.

Load-in time: 8:15pm
Set time: 9-12 am
*no tip jar allowed but artist can accept tips*
Hospitality: $50 bar tab (please refrain from eating during your set)
PA: DJ provides turntables, mixer, vinyl for the set
Venue will provide:
• Table
• Yamaha HS5 Speakers
• XLR cables, 3ft & 6ft ¼ inch cables (please bring your own just in case)
• Power strip and gear ties.
Compensation: $300 sent by Axiom the following Monday.

Notes: The overall goal for Living Room is to maintain a funk/soul/groove vibe by leaning on a variety of genres from Disco and Neo Soul to modern R&B and Dance music. They have 59 LPs available to use. DJs are welcome to supplement to this list, but we ask that you stay within the genre guidelines of this list. Here is the list with spotify links.
Please also politely decline all requests from now on at the W Dallas “DJs are not allowed to take requests” is a perfectly ok response
If you’re going to record video, please ask ahead of time. There’s a bit of red tape to get through.
